EATON. O.. Jan. 31. As a result

of persistent activity of the state tax; commission looking to a reappraisement of real estate in Ohio, County Auditor S. C. Hunt recommended to the county commissioners that reappraisement of realty in Preble county be made. The commissioners have gone on record as disapproving reappraisement. The auditor takes the view that the buck is now passed to the state tax commission In his recommendation the auditor declared in several of the faxing districts of the county realty is not entered upon the tax duplicate at its real value. She claims her husband returned from overseas in July, 1919, and was mustered out of service, but, that he refused to return to her.

Final results of the Palladium's poll for president, which was closed Saturday show Governor Edwards, of New

Jersey, leading, with 119 votes. Herbert Hoover was second, with 52. Of the Republicans, Watson leads with 47, Wood is second with 43, Johnson has 26, Lowden 9, Goodrich 13, Harding 6, Coolidge 4. Democrats are Edwards 119, Wilson 23, Bryan 6, McAdoo 21, Cox 6.
