Firs Christian Members Will Obtain $6,000 (or Church Building Planned Following the recommendation of a finance committee appointed at the annual congregational meeting in January, members of the First Christian Church who gathered Thursday night to discuss plans to tear down the present structure and erecting a modern one, determined to obtain $6,000 through weekly and monthly contribution during 1920. Neighborhood meeting to discuss the plans will do away with the personal solicitation. It is thought. A suggestion' that work be started immediately In tearing down the old building was discussed. A motion was finally adopted to start work In 1921. A building committee, which will be named soon, was authorized.
