Rotarians to Bowl at State Meet in Ft. Wayne Local Rotarians are assured of a good time at Fort Wayne at the district Rotary Conference on the 11 and , 12 of Feb. In addition to the real serious sessions of the conference, a number of "side issues" are receiving attention. Among these is an "All-Indiana Bowling Contest," which will be staged on the alleys of the new Y. M. C. A. building on the first evening of the event. The bowling fans are all interested in the announcement, and this sport feature will doubtless attract many to Fort Wayne for the Lincoln's birthday occasion. An immense number of Rotarians and their wives, from all over Indl.ant, will assemble In Fort Wayne for the conference which promises to be one of he most important events of . the kind ever held in the middle west.

Topic for Jan. 25: The World's Need of Christ Eph. 2:1-13 (Foreign Missionary Meeting.) Two Hemispheres Meeting. Divide the society into two parts and assign to each part a hemisphere. Divide also the missionary committee into two parts and make the members in each part responsible for one of the hemlsphere" . i. - - v Arrange the seats in the meeting in

the form of two large circles. The cir-J

t ie on tne right win represent the eastfin, the circle on the left the western hemisphere. The prayer-meeting comnii'tee will prepare cards with the words, "Eastern Hemisphere," or Western Hemisphere," on them and sive the cards to the members before the meeting. The missionary committee may prepare two wall-charts draw them on large sheets of paper, copying them from an atlas one showing the eastern and the other showing the western hemisphere. Mark the countries clearly. Hang these charts on the wall, and as speakers take part have a member ready to 'indicate on the map the position of the country referred to. Assign to the members as far ahead of the meeting as possible, the countries in the two hemispheres. Give

the members missionary books to read also magazines. Urge them to use the !

newspapers, and note from them reasons why the world needs Christ. In the meeting let the members give testimonies alternately one testimony from the eastern hemisphere, then one from the western, and so on. Appoint three judges who will give a decision at the close of the meeting as to which hemisphere most deeply needs Christ. The judges will give reasons for their decision based on the testimonies offered. The aim ot the Endeavorers should be to give the most cogent and convincing reasons

why the part of the world they represent needs Christ. Keith Falconer, a young man of brilliant attainments, rich and influential, the son of a British peer, said: "What is a call? A call is a need, a need made known, and the power to meet that need." . "A need made known." That is the object of this meeting to make known to us, to bring home to us, the need of the world for Christ. There is no longer any excuse for ignorance about the appalling condition of the world : for we can read, and the world is full of books telling the dreadful story. The newspapers alone should convince us. The wickedness is abundant in all parts of the globe. It is not only the heathen world that needs Christ, but the civilized world as well. Germany needs Christ; England, America. France. And the individual citizens of these and other nations need Christ. Capitalists need Christ to show them how to be just and fair and even generous. Profiteers need Christ to make them stop robbing the poor. Labor needs Christ to make it fair and honest. We all need Christ in every relation of life. As a sick man, sorely wounded, needs a physician, so does the world need Jesus. Haw can it be made to realize its need? How can we bring Christ to a needy world ? For Answer in the Meeting. Why does the world need Christ? YiTiy does our community need Christ? Why does America need Christ? Why doos Africa need Christ? (Give to the Endeavorers similar questions, using the names of different countries. In many cases the sanle question may be given to several members. What has Christ already done for the world What can Christ do for the world morally? What can Christ do far the world's civilization? What can Christ do for the world spiritually?

What can Christ do for the world .physically? What is the church's responsibility to bring Christ to the world? What is the Christian's responsibility to bring Christ to the world? What is the church doing to take Christ to the world? How can we bring home to our hearts the world's great need? What is the value of a missionary board? Bible References. WASHINGTON. All the natural wit and humor possessed by happy-go-lucky Owen Moore and the added ingenuity of screen craftsmanship is solidly injected into "Piccadilly Jim," Moore's first picture under the Selznick banner, which opens at the Washington today. Owen Moore as "Piccadilly Jim," the devil-may-care hero in P. G. Wodehouse'a famous Saturday Evening Post story of the same name, returns to his American public with a freshness and determination that is as conspicuous as it is entertaining. Director Wesley Ruggles and Cameraman George Peters have made snre that "Piccadilly Jim" will surT iise and delight the most critical of picture patrons, and to make their efforts all the most convincing, many unusual and noteworthy angles in settings and photography have been effected, including many ingenious "takes" on New York's elevated trains snd some short and long "shots" of New York's Great White Way at the mystic hour of midnight. MURRAY Blonde Bessie Barriascale is a blonde no longer! The reason for this is "Her Purchase Price," at the Murray theatre today, the captivating star's latest production in which she plays an Arabian girl.

"Laxative Bromo Quinine Tablets"

Tuesday

Now, nobody ever heard of an Oriental with golden hair, so Bessie wears a wig as black as night, and we'll "say she looks stunning as a dusky beauty. .. - MURRETTE. Maurice Tourneur is known as a master of realism. In his new production. "The Life Line," a Para-mount-Artcraft picture, at the Murrette theatre today, one of the most striking episodes is a great fire in a London theatre, in which scores of people lose their lives, and the hero and heroine are-rescued in . the nick of time. For the screening of this scene, Mr. Tourneur is said to have taken the famous Iroquois theatre fire in Chicago in 1903, as his model. He talked with numerous survivors of that disaster, read minutely the ac-

counst of it, and is declared to have reproduced faithfully- the thrilling scenes. MURRAY Arthur Angel who does an old man impersonation very similar to Chic Sales, is the big laughing hit of the new bill which opened yesterday at the Murray. He is very ably assisted by Miss Violet Fuller, a comely young lady and their efforts last evening amused the audience immensely.

'Ashley and Dietrich have a comedy singing and talking act one doing a "Potash" character and the other displaying a very good singing voice.

Scott and Christy sing and offer a pleasing routine of chatter. Bessie Barriscale is delighting her admirers on the, screen with her latest release, "Her Purchase Price." Mr.. Glen R. Crum, of Milwaukee is conducting the orchestra. ' - ' - -

Alkali in Shampoos Bad For Washing Hair

Most soaps and prepared Snampoos contain too much alkali, which is very injurious, as. it dries the scalp and makes the hair brittle. The best thing to use is Mnlsifled coccanut oil shampoo, for this Is pure and entirely greaseiess. It is very cheap and beats anything ejse all to. pieces. You can get this at any drus More, and a few ounces will last the whole family for months. Simply moisten the hair with water and rub it in, about a teaspoonful is all that is required. It makes an abundance of rich, creamy lather, cleanses thoroughly, "and rinses out easily. The hair dries quickly and evenly, and is soft, frenh looking, bright, fluffy, wavy and easy to handle. Besides, it loosens and takes

l out every particle of dust, dirt and J dandruff.: Adv.
