" Labor Dcaozaces Dlzdgeon Methods of Soliciting Ads

7 TAction denouncing : the alleged aetlon of a member or members of the labor organization, who were soliciting advertisements from merchants by threatening to place them on the "unit air" list unless they subscribed for advertisements, was taken at the meeting of the local Labor council Thursday night. Members of the council charged that ten ' person guilty, was charging ex orbltant rates for the advertising and In other ways violating the confidences of the organization.

chants are not obligated to take any advertising space in matters of this kind, unless they so desire," said an

official." and no one can be regarded

as soliciting in the name of the Cen

tral Labor council unless that person

presents a certificate signed by offi

Hllterman Mrs. 'Benjamin Hllter-

man, 45 years old, died at her home at 447 South Fifth street, at 12 p. m.,

Thursday, from heart trouble, after

being confined to bed for 10 days.

She was born in Richmond, the de

scendant of one of the pioneer families

of Richmond, ' and has lived here all

her life. She was a member of St.

Andrew's church, St. Ann's Society,

and the Poor Soul s Society.

She is survived by her husband,

Benjamin Hllterman, and one son,' Joseph Hllterman. She is also sur

vived by several sisters. Funeral arranged later.
