Tuesday evening's City League bowling at Twigg's alleys, was feat

ured by the 2 out of 3 victory of the Wilson Cleaners over the Coco-Colas.

The Cokes had been coming like a house afire and were expected to trim the Cleaners. The Number 2 Casey five rolled 2 better scores than did the Haberdashers. High Icore for the evening went to Dick Zeyen, when he

upset 231 pins in the first game. High

average for the evening went to Blomeyer, of the Haberdashers, when be marked a total of C88 as the evening's

to 184 for the three games. "Sarg" Smith, the Haberdasher war horse, galloped right along last night, collecting; 209 pins In his last game. All Harry has to do is make up his mind to get them, and they fall. Our fullest sympathy went out to Capt Pete last night, for the scores he rolled are no indication of where, he was hitting them. They just wouldn't fall. Nor would they fall for "Dick" Grottendick, when he relieved Pete in the second game. We wonder whether the jinx is in the rolling position on the team. What it took to stop those lordly Feltman Tramps in their mad rush

for the seat of honor in the City League, Ray Blade's aggregation ' of "Cleaners" produced lastf night and by administering theirv process ot "cleaning" they took the big two out of three from the Tramps. And. in the meantime, the K. of C. No. 2 wrecking crew was putting the skids under the Haberdashers for the better two of three. However, credit must be given the Haberdashers, even tho they lost for some pretty consistent games rolled by both teams. Newell Todd, who has been mystifying all of us. even bringing sorrow to our door, by his sensational bowling, was off form last night, dropping to a 162 average. But, the marbles

H.S. Basket Squad Will Work During Vacation Although winning tho remaining games on the Richmond high school schedule is Important, it is the spring tourney that cither makes or breaks the red and white. It is toward winning the tourney that Coach Fries is shaping the team. On J wo occasions a Richmond high team won nearly every- game on Its schedule and yet at the tourney some dark horse team stepped in and copped the honors. The last two seasons has seen the high school team cop the district tourney honors. . Richmond high school coaches have
