Vocational Lew Explained by Director H.B.M'Comb Some misunderstanding is prevailing regarding the age evidence minor's certificate cards, which are obtainable at the office of H. G. McComb, vocational director of the schools. These cards, which are commonly know n as "green cards" are for the safety of employers who name minors between the ages of 1C and 19 working for them. Another matter of some indecision is the "posting" ruling. The ruling deeds as follows: "Every person, firm, corporation or company employing any person under sixteen years of age in any estab

lishment as aforesaid, shall post and keep posted in a conspicuous place in every room where such help is employed, a printed notice stating the number of hours of labor per day of such persons for each day of the week, and the number of hours of labor exacted or permitted to be performed by such persons shall not exceed the number of hours of labor so posted as being required. ; " The time of beginning and ending the days' labor shall be the time slat- ! ed in such notice: provided such fcmales undo, IS and persons under It) : years of age may begin after the ' time set for beginning and stop before the time set for the stopping of the day's labor, but they shall not, bf permitted nor required to perform ' any labor before the time stated on ; the notices as the beginning of the ! day's labor, nor after ihe time sated ! for the ending of the day's labor, i (Acts lSf'lh page 232, Burns' 1011, I section S021..)
