Try Making Your Own Cough Remedy Too can wre about $2, and hare better remedy than the readymade kind. Easily due. If you combined (he curative properties of every known "ready-made" cough remedy, you probably could not get as much real curative power as there is in this Bimple home-made cough syrup, which is easily prepared in a few minutes. Get from any druggist ounces of Pinex, pour it into a pint bottle and fill the bottle with syrup, using either plain granulated sugar syrup, clarified molasses, honey, or corn syrup, as desired. The result is a full pint of really better cough syrup than you could buy ready-made for three times the money. Tastes pleasant and never spoils. This Pinex and Syrup preparation gets right at the cause of a caugh and gives almost immediate relief. It loosens the phlegm, stops the nasty throat tickle and heals the sore, irritated membranes so gntly and easily that it Is really astonishing. A day's use will usually overcome the ordinary cough and for bronchitis, croup, hoarseness and bronchial asthma, there is nothing better. Pinex Is a most valuable concentrated compound of genuine Norway pine extract, and has been used for generations to break up Bevere coughs. To avoid disappointment, ask your druggist for "2Vs ounces of Pinex" with full directions, and don't accept anything else. Guaranteed to give ab- . solute satisfaction or money promptly refunded. Capital Prepares for Hoosier Football Classic INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Oct. 30. The game between Indiana university and Notre Dame at Washington park Saturday will resemble the big Yale-Harvard football classics of the east more than any other event on the Hoosler gridiron card. The city is a center for alumni of both institutions end interurbans and trains will bring supporters from every corner of Indiana. The town already is taking on a little football atmosphere and by the last of the week the game will be the chief topic of conversation. Fans are longing for a sight of the Irish aggregation that has established such a reputation in recent years, as the Gold and Blue team has not played here since 1908. Since that time the up-staters have defeated Bome of the strongest teams in the country and tho eleven ths year is fully up to the standard set In the days of the famous Dorals. Pllska and Flchenlaub. Critics of the game regard Notre
Dame as stronger than Minnesota, but they look for a bitter tussle, as the Crimson eleven that faces Coach Rockne's men will be much stronger than the one which tackled Minnesota. It 13 now reasonably certain that the Indiana lineup at the start of the game will be as follows: Left end, Donovan; left tackle, Rlsley; left guard, Wiley; center, Lohrei; right guard, Mumby; right tackle, Leonard; right end, Pope; quarter back, Math ys; right half, Williams; full back, Ross; and left half. Bowser. Officials for the contest will be: Referee, F. E. Gardner, Cornell; umpire, A. G. Reid, Michigan; field Judge, A. R. Coffin, Cornell; head linesman, Guy Lowman, Springfield Y. M. C. A. CHICAGO-ILLINOIS BATTLE FEATURES BIG TEN GAMES
CHICAGO, Oct. 30. Reports from the Conference grid camps Indicate that the games Saturday In the Big Ten will be productive of some of the best football of the year. At present the Chicago-Illinois battle at TJrbana is attracting the attention of Western grid followers. That Coach Zuppke is drilling his men to stage a comeback after the defeat of the Illinois eleven last Saturday by "Wisconsin Is evident from rumor from the downstate camp. Zuppke is rebuilding his back field and states he will have more driving force here than at any time during the season. Secret practices are the rule at Urbana and what the shifts will be are a mystery to followers of the team. That Chicago is out to continue In the win column and eet Its nose in the track for the Conference title, is evident from the preparations going on at Stagg field. The old mentor of the Maroons has been drilling his men at a pace this week unsurpassed In years past. Assisted by Pat Page, Stagg is out to triumph over Illinois, Saturday at any cost and with the best chances in years facing the Maroons, he is leaving no stone untouched in the task. Wolverines Play. Northwestern has failed to get started this season, and, with a crippled linetip, is in a bad way to open up now. The only other Big Ten game of Saturday will see Wisconsin bucking the Gophers at Madison. Coach Richards is drilling his men zealously this week, according to Badger reports, to fathom the famous Minnesota shift and slip over another win on the Gopher aggregation as was done here last year. Most of the cripples of the Illinois game are back in the lineup, reports state, and Badger fans are pulling for another win this season by the Wisconsin eleven. Minnesota dispatches state that Doc Williams is out to make up for the defeat met by Minnesota last Saturday and is hinting of a shift in his lineup to add more defensive strength. Indiana will mfc't Notre Dame, Purdue the Michigan Aggies, and Iowa battles South Dakota in the only other games participated i.' by Big Ten teams. Drink be tare breakfast, a glass of hot water with a teaspoonful of limestone phosphate in it This will flush the poisons and toxins from stomach, liver, kidneys and bowels and cleanse, sweeten and purify the entire ailmentary tract. Do your Inside bathing immediately upon arising In the morning to wash out of the system all the previous day's poisonous waste, gases and sour bile before eating more food. MIAMI WORKING FOR GAME WITH DENISON DYFORD. O . Oct. 30 Not In the ST, PAUL MAN HAS MADE GAIN OF 30 POUNDS Narvold Lays His Cane Aside and is Ready to Go to Work Again. "Yes, sir, Just thirty pounds heavier since I've taken Tanlac, and what's more, I never felt better In my whole life than I do today," was the statement made recently by A. 6. Narvold, In an interview with the Tanlao representative. Mr. Narvold lives at ITU Roblyn avenue, St Paul, Minn., and Is a motorman for the Twin City Rapid Transit Co. Continuing, Mr. Narvold said: "For three years before I started taking Tanlac I was bothered with rheumatism and during the last year it got so bad that I finally had to give up my regular run. I had awful palnB in my hands, limbs, shoulder blades and ankles, and nearly all the time my hands were swollen twice their normal size and I couldn't double up my fist to save my life. The pains were sO terrible at times that it felt fike a hot Iron laying on my body from my ankles to my hips, Just a burning pain that kept me in agony. My back and kidneys troubled me a great deal and fit night the pains all over my body would be so bad that I could never get a good night's sleep or rest. My stomach got out of order and I lost, my appetite, but even after I would force myself to eat a little something, gas formed and would sometimes bloat me up as tight as a drum. I was so nervous that when I sat down to read a newspaper my hands would shake so that I couldn't see the print, and my complexion actually turned as yellow as mustard. I lost so much weight and got so weak that for the past two months I had to hobble about with a cane. T guess I would still be in that fix if one of the conductors had not told me about his experience with Tanlac, and got me to try It. Well, the way it went right to the bottom xt my troubles and overcome my suffer ing is remarkable, and today I can say that I haven't any kind of a pain in my whole body. The rheumatism has bo completely disappeared that I never feel a trace of it now and my nerves are as steady as a clock. My kindneys and back don't trouble me in the least and my stomach is in such good 6hape that I digest everything I eat and I am eating anything I want. My complexion has all cleared up and every night I am getting a good night's sleep and' rest. I have thrown my cane away, feel as fine as I ever did in my life and am going back to my regular run in a few days. As a niedicino I don't believe Tanlac has an equal." Tanlac is sold in Richmond by Clem Thistlethwaite; in Greensfork by C. D. Sornine; in Cambridge City by Mr. Dean House; in Pershing by Saurbeer &. Rodenberg; in Centerville by Centerville Pharmacy, and in Milton by W. L. Parkins. Adv.
