evening. The Morrey orchestra will play for the dancers. The party is being arranged by Mrs. George S el del, Mrs. James Carr and Mrs. Juliet Shirk. Mr. and Mrs. Bart Kolp -will give a Halloween dance Friday evening in the L O. a T, hall at 9 o'clock. The dance will not be a masquerade dance. As a compliment to her house guest, Mrs. Lena Uorman of Los Angeles, CaL, Mrs. William Piehl was hostess at a pretty Halloween party yesterday afternoon at her home on South Eighth street. Halloween decorations were artistically used and late In the afternoon an elaborate luncheon was cerved. Mrs. Everest Ogborn entertained a party of boys yesterday at her home in celebration of the fourteenth birthday anniversary of her Bon. Argus. Halloween decorations were used and Halloween games played. Those present were Andrew Spalding, Rudolph Wettig. Loren Owens, llobert Ryan, Clayton Jackson, Michael Roe, George Suyder, Argus Ogborn, Paul Swain, Oran Townsend, Leoline Klus, John Smith, Charles Lalore, Mlnter Huckery, Roger Hanseruen. Charles Wagner and George and Frank Cunning-Lam.

The Womans Relief Corps will meet tomorrow afternoon at 2:80 o'clock In the post rooms of the court house. All members are urged to be present. The Parent-Teacher'B association ot Joseph Moore school will give an informal masquerade party Friday afternoon at the school for the mothers and children of the community. A mpsical program is being planned and Halloween games will be played. The committee urges that all come masked promptly at 2 o'clock.

Mrs. Xelle Barnard has retrunod from Chicago, where she has been visiting for several weeks and attended the wedding of her daughter. Miss Gladys Barnard and Charles Starr, son of Henry Starr of the Westcott. Mr. end Mrs. Starr are residing In Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hohman entertained a party of friends at their home on North D street in celebration of their sixth wedding anniversary.

Halloween decorations of gold and black were used about the house. Late in the evening a two-course luncheon was served in the dining room. A bouquet of roses and carnations for the centerpiece for the table whero covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Blossom, Mr. and Mrs. McMUlin, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Sydensticker, Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Holly, Miss Esther McNeil, Miss Florence Meinsen of Nebraska, and Louis Qulnn. Among the many pretty Halloween parties of the week was that given last evening by Mrs. J. B. Donnel at her home on South A street. Halloween decorations in black and gold were used everywhere about the house

and Halloween games were enjoyed. The guests came masked and were received at the door by a ghost. A feature of the evenings entertainment was the fortune telling by one of the guests, masked as a fortune teller. The prize for the prettiest costume was given Miss Leonore Walker and the most ridiculous to Mrs. Margaret Adrlon, and the second prize to Miss Booth. The -uessing contest favor was won by Miss Emelle Maue. At a later hour refreshments were served to sixty guests. Mrs. Everette MoConaha and little daughter, Joan, returned yesterday from a two weeks' visit with Mrs. McConaha's parents In St. Louis. Mo. Mrs. Gertrude Moore and F. E.

Schlientz, both of Eldorado, O., were

married Saturday afternoon at the home of the bride. The rooms were

attractively decorated with bouquets

of white chrysanthemums, pink roses

and ferns. The Rev. A. C. Barnhart performed the ceremony in the presence of only the Immediate friends and relatives. The single ring service waa used. The bride wore a gown of flesh georgette crepe. Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Schlientz left on a wedding trip east and will be at home on their return at the home of the bride. The bride traveled in

a tailored suit of navy blue. Mr. Schlientz expects to go to Columbus, O., soon to take an advance course in embalming in order to continue in the undertaking business.

The Alice Carey club meeting has been postponed one week and will
