Pressnall. Mrs. Fred Sharp, Miss Margaret Russell, Miss Vera Beroth, Miss Mabel Ritenour, Miss Marie Wrede, Miss Pauline Wrede, Miss Norine Mahin and Miss Ruth Burdick. The Richmond hostesses were Miss Margaret Jones, Miss Lucille Wellbaum. Miss Miriam Eichholtz, Miss Mae Appleton, Miss Olive Jones, Miss Nellie Hawkins, Miss Lillian Johnson, Miss Marjorie Floyd and Miss Martha Jones. The marriage of Miss Mabel Wise, of Greensfork, and Wilbur Petty of Hagerstown, was solemnized Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist parsonage in Centerville, the Rev. O'Connor officiating. The only attendants were Miss Nell Wise, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Monroe Sherry of Hagerstown, mother of the groom. Mr. and Mrs. Petty will reside In Hagerstown, where he Is superintendent of the light plant.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Kolp will ive their regular assembly dance this evening in the I. O. O. F. hall at 9 o'clock. The balcony will be open to visitors. Thirty-five couples attended the Omicron PI Sigma assembly dance Wednesday evening in the I. O. O. F. hall. A new orchestra composed of Charles Brown, Robert Coate, Eizle Skinner, Marlow Aiken and J. Pitcher played a program of unusually good dance music.
The Junior assembly class in dancing, under the direction of Mrs. Charles Kolp will meet for the first time tomorrow afternon in the ball room of the Eagles' club at 3 o'clock.
A Halloween masquerade party will be given for members and friends of the Ben Hur lodge next Thursday evening in the Vaughn hall. Last evening 24 candidates were initiated at the regular meeting.
Wayne County Better Homes association will meet Wednesday, October 22, at the Methodist church In Williamsburg at 1:30 o'clock. Dr. H. W McKane of Indianapolis will give an address on "Better Homes," a program of music will be given and a business session held. All members In the county are urged to be present. Announcement is made that the Eunice Martin school, at Miami, Fla., to be operated by Mrs. Eunice Martin, formerly of the city, will open December 1. The school is a classical school for tourists and two Indiana girls on the teaching staff are Miss June VanAllen of Indianapolis, who will have charge of the kindergarten, and Miss Inez Howard of Kokomo, who will teach mathematics, science, Latin and French.
Miss Luclle Carney is attending the alumnae reunion at St. Mary's of the Woods at Terre Haute this week. The Young Men's dancing club will give their regular assembly dance tomorrow evening. Tic's Trio will furnish the music.
The Tourist club will meet tomorrow evening with Mr. and Mrs. John E. Parker at their home in Eaton, O. Oliver H. Bogue will give a talk on "Famous Military Leaders of War Foch. Haig. Pershing, Allenby, Petaln and Joffre." The Daughters of American Revolution will meet tomorrow afternoon with Mrs. Walter Bates at her home on South Thirteenth street. Mrs. H. H. Huntington, regent of the chapter, will give an account of the recent convention held in South Bend. A full attendance Is desired ' as business of

The Do Your Bit club met yesterday afternon with Mrs Inez Townsend at her home on the Middleboro pike Plans were completed for the party to be given this evening at the school for the husbands of the club members Twenty-two members and one guest, Mrs. Mae Townsend, were present. The club will meet in two weeks with Mrs. Frieda Williamson at her home on the cart road.
