800 Hold Pep Meeting at H. S. Chapel Exercise Pep and plenty of it, was displayed by the High School at the auditorium exercises Friday morning, previous to the departure of the football team Friday afternoon. All the school yells were given and every member of the team was sent away with the ring of over 800 voices wishing him success. School songs were sung by the FChool quartette, composed of Kenneth Dolllns, IieRoy Harding, Wynn Evans rind Floyd Nusbaum. Mrs. Clara Igleman sang a solo; Manager Vernon, Coach Rock, Captain Emslie of the football team. LeRoy Harding, a member of the team, and Captain Thornburg of the basketball team, spoke. Ford weekly movies were shown.

V . , ) CAMDEN The Presbyterial Missionary convention met in United Presbyterian church at Fairhaven Tuesday evening and Wednesday. There were delegates from Dayton, Richmond, College Corner, Hamilton, Oxford, Morning Sun, Cherry' Fork, Sycamore, Cincinnati, Seymour and Stanton, Ky. Tuesday evening's program was: Devotional, Mrs. Jennie Johnson; anthem by Fairhaven choir; exercise. Juniors; solo, Roy Benham; address, Miss Kate Hill. Wednesday's program was taken with business. A short address was made by Miss Johnson. All sessions were well attended. Owing to the crowded condition of first and second grades in Camden schools, another teacher has been hired and wil take up her work Monday morning. Miss Guntle of Wrest Alexandria will have charge.

ECONOMY Mrs. Charles Morrison was In Fort. Wayne to attend the conference of Charity and Correction this week. Mrs. Morrison was appointed a delegate by the Indiana Yearly Meeting, and this is the thirteenth session she has attended. MILTON The annual home-coming of the Milton Christian church will be held Sunday. Bible school at 9:30: sermon by the pastor at 10:45. A basket dinner will be served in the basement at the noon hour. In the afternoon there will be a miscellaneous program of songs, readings and addresses. Miss Yegling, a reader of Indianapolis, who has atended several home-comings of the Milton church, will be on the program. All members and friends of the church and Sunday school are invited to come with well filled baskets and enjoy the day.

New Garden, Ind, The Ladies' Aid society met at the church Thursday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Paulson spent Sunday evening with her parents, Oscar Bailey and family. Clarence Martin and family called on friends at Richmond and Whitewater Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Will Rothermel were in Union City and Winchester Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Williams and family spent Sunday with Sam Kem and family at Webster. Luther Liebold and daughter, Ruby, have returned from Columbus. O., where they have been visiting relatives. The missionary" society met at the home of Albert Williams Wednesday. The. meeting was called to order by Mrs. Martin.

Harry Bell of Indianapolis spent the week end here with his parents. Kenneth Huddleston joined the navy last week and has left for San FVancisco. Mrs. Joseph Copeland, of Milton, spent Sunday here with her mother and sister, Mrs. Rachel Sarver and daughter, Jessie, Mrs. Preston Mason and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Don Drischel and son and Mrs. Belle Martin were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Myers. Mr. and Mrs. George Brown and niece, Miss Marie Good, of Indianapolis spent a few days last week with O. H. Morris and family. They all motored to Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday and stayed until Thursday. The children of Amos Huddleston celebrated his eightieth birthday anniversary at his home last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Wilson and Mrs. Martha Welker of Millville, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wood of Newcastle, called on Mrs. Sarah Howan and daughter, Sunday afternoon.
