WILSON WRECKS LAW, STABILITY, SAYS SEN. JONES
Washington Republican Says President's Tactics Embody
' Spirit of Armed Mob. (By Associated Ptbb)
WASHINGTON. Oct. 6. Senator Jones, Republican, o Washington, declared In an address In the senate Fri
day that President Wilson, by word and deed, has done more to undermine orderly, peaceful representative gov
ernment than any other human
agency." -
The President's action, "in attempt
ing to coerce" a coordinate legislative branch of the government to do his
will regardless of Its own judgment
and conviction of duty. Senator Jones said, was "a more dangerous assault upon democracy and the Integrity of this republic than any armed attack could he." . "It embodies the spirit of the mob and justifies lawlessness," he charged. Senator Jonee said he did not question the President's sincerity, and however much he might condemn his . methods. It would not Influence his decision in voting on the treaty. " In studying It. he told the senate he had Bought to find reasons to justify his Hippo rt rather than to sustain a vote against it. The main controversy over ; the treaty, Senator Jones declared, was the covenant for a league of nations, "which will not be rejected, but so ratified that the vital Interests' of the "United States will be protected and Its independence and sovereignty preserved." To Blame for Delay. imi & .1 1 3 X

in the treaty," he said. "Months ago the treaty with Germany should have ieen made and ratified. - Who Is to
blame for the delay? No one but the
President. He and he alone Insisted
isnon the two things being put to
gether."
If the world's heart is broken, he will break It. If the world's hope of
peace shall die, he win bill it."
Senator Jones Insisted that Amer
ican repqesenitativesin the council and assembly of the league should be
eventually elected -by the people.
"The president tells the people the
world wiU sink Into chaos if the United Statesvdoes not enter the league of nations," Senator Jones said. "The
danger to the covenant today comes
from the president himself. He insists that the covenant must be ac-
' icepted by the senate exactly as he has sent It to us. "I know and his friends know and he ought to know that if reservations
are not adopted the covenant will be
rejected in its entirety. If the treaty is not satified and the United States fails to enter the league of nations.

t&y A WARM AIR HEATING SYSTEM FOR yOUR HOME
Easy Tepeis
Costs No More Than Ordinary Stoves
Two heating systems in one a warm air furnace built inside a heating stove, and the cost of operation less than in any ordinary heater. The diagram above shows how it works. Fresh air (just as with a furnace) is drawn in through pipes on both sides of the stove, heated evenly to several hundred degrees temperature, and then discharged not through the flue and chimney, but through the Warm Air Chamber into the room. This creates a thorough circulation of warm air which will successfully heat several rooms (six or seven rooms in some houses). Even the upstairs rooms can be heated by the aid of a simple pipe connection. (See diagram). NOTE CAREFULLY THIS FACT: Not an ounce of extra fuel is required to heat the "Little Furnace." The warm air which it distributes is produced by heat which ordinarily is drawn up the chimney and wasted. It embodies ALL the good features of old-fashioned
heating stoves, and its own big, exclusive features in addition. Even without the wonderful Little Furnace it would be superior to any ordinary heater. It has a JOINTLESS ash box, which Insures perfect fire control throughout the life of the heater. It has an ash pan big enough to hold a full twenty-four hours' accumulation of ashes. It has two Estate Patented Screw Draft Registers in the ash box door, which work with such exact precision that the heat in the Estate Hot Storm can be controlled as easily and accurately as the heat in a steam radiator. It has a double-strength fire pot, and an anti-buck! ing ring which prevents the drum from buckling. It Is equipped with our patented tubular hot blast attachment, which cokes the coal, consumes the gases and soot and keeps the outer edge of the fire as intensely alive as the center. It is as good a floor warmer as the ordinary base burner, due to the scientific construction of the ash box and skirting.
