Collector Takes Office in Palladium Building A. N. logan, deputy collector of Internal revenue, has established hia offices in Room 2 of the Palladium

j building. He will assist taxpayers in solving problems pertaining to federal taxes. Among the tax items that come under hia supervision are oleomargarine, cigar manufacturers, tobacco manufacturers, soft drinks, documentary fit.irups, all excise taxes, admissions and dues, transportation, pool table and automobile taxes. Logan has taken over part of the territory formerly served by C. M. Hayworth, who resigned on September 1. He will notify the public later of his office hours. Wayne County Persons Receive Jingle Awards Among the persons who received rewards for submitting jingles in the N. R. G. campaign, which was conducted over the whole nation, are Mabel Wilson. 109 South Fifth street, and Mrs. Effie M. Pate, R. R. A. Centerville. Considerable ingenuity was displayed by the persons who submitted their work. Mrs. Mabel Turner of Bedford, received one of the highest prizes for her jingle. Ross, et al.. No. 18583, in the Wayne Circuit Court of Indiana at the April Term, 1919. thereof-, will from this day until and including the 20th day of October, at two o'clock p. m., receive bids at the office of the county burveyor or Wayne County, Indiana, in the court house in the City of Richmond, for the construction of said proposed ditch.
