7th Ward to Welcome , Home Soldier Boys Citizens of the south portion of th Seventh ward are arranging lor a welcome home for returned soldiers, tai be held probably Thursday evening at Joseph Moore school. No definite plans bare been completed yet, but the committee will make reports Tuesday. The welcome home is especially for soldiers whose homes are in West Richmond, but all others are cordially Invited. Matlock Sahara Elmina Matlack, 70 years old, died at her residence in Whitewater, Ind., at three o'clock Monday morning from complication of diseases. She was born in Wayne county, and has lived here all her life. Surviving are her husband, Thomas B. Matlock, one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Williams of Hollansburg, Ohio; one brother, John K. Thomas, of Whitewater and one sister, Mrs. Ella McDonald, of Chester, Ind. Funeral services will be held at the Christian church, of Whitewater, at two o'clock, Wednesday afternoon and burial will be In the Gcshen cemetery.
