As everyhody can plainly see there is something shady about the new turn which millinery styles have taken. The Mizi sailors which wero popular in the spring or the Watteau hats of long ago were undoubtedly the inspiration for this novel hat, with its exaggerated droop. It is black lisere straw trimmed with black velvet ribbon and uncurled ostrich plumes. A front view shows nothing but hat brim and the curve of a pretty chin.

The organs of digestion, assimilation and elimination the stomach, liver and bowels are closely allied, and the proper action of any of these organs la largely dependent upon the correct functioning of all the others. "Whipping" your liver into action
with calomel or forcing your bowels with irritating laxatives or Btrong cathartics is a great mistake. A better, safer plan is strengthening and toning the whole digestive and elimlnatlve system with Nature's Remedy (NR Tablets), which not only brings Immediate relief, but genuine and lasting benefit. It acts on the stomach, liver, bowels and kidneys, improves digestion and assimilation, overcomes biliousness, corrects constipation and quickly relieves sick headache. Get your system thoroughly cleansed and purified for once: stomach, liver and bowels working together in vigorous harmony, and you will r.ot heva to take medicine every day Just take one NR Tablet occasionally to keep your system in good condition and always feel your best. Remember it is easier and cheaper to keep well than It is to get well. Get a 25c box and try it wltn the understanding that it must give you greater relief and benefit than any bowel or liver medicine you ever used or no pay. DURING JULY AND AUGUST
It is very difficult to secure sufficient help in the different stores to render the very best service and in many stores it has been necessary to work the salespeople at rights to keep stocks in order and replenished for the following day's business. Realizing that during the hot months of July and August something must be done to relieve this condition and to permit the salespeople to have necessary relaxation and rest during the hard six-day business week, the merchants met and agreed that the most logical and most all-around satisfactory plan would be to close all stores for a half day each week, as has been done in a number of the larger cities for several years. The merchants Interested in this humanitarian movement feel that the public will fully appreciate the good that this movement will accomplish and will co-operate by shopping during the cooler hours of the morning. If this closing arrangement is kept in mind it is believed it will prove a benefit to all concerned and will not inconvenience anyone.
