Court Supports Prosecution I Of Dry Law Violators (By Associated FrsO NEW YORK. June 26. The United States circuit of appeals, in an opinion handed down today modified the injunction recently granted brewers by Federal Judge Mayer against United States District Attorney Caffey and Acting Collector of Internal Revenue McElllgott. The opinion of the higher court permits the prosecutor to proceed against alleged violators of the war time prohibition act.

. ROME, Wednesday, June 25. Premier Tittoni, addressing the senate today, called upon parliament and the country for their full and unconditional support, regardless of . party. He said the Italian parliament and the -country realize with anxiety that while the disposition of the national aspirations still are uncertain, those of other powers already have been acknowledged. He said he was quite willing to answer all legitimate requests for explanations.

Hanby, or Allen as he prefers to be known, was convicted on Tuesday of
killing Dewltt C. Pearl, paying teller
of the East Brooklyn Savings bank
while Hamby and a confederate were
robbing the bank of $13,000 on De
cember 13, last. Henry Coons, an
other employe of the bank, was shot
to death by the robbers. Hamby has
declared he will go to the chair protecting ; the name of his companion
in the robbery.
Aside from expressing the hope that
he might live to hear the result of the
Willard-Dempsey championship bout, Hamby offered no objection to the
court setting an early date for his
electrocution.

Turkey will be the next enemy country to be disposed of by the peace conference. It is expected that the Turkish peace delegates
will be jtfven their peace terms within a few days. The delegates, with Damad Ferid Pasha at their head, are quartered in the chateau
of Haireson, France, where they will receive the terms to sirn. Recent reports state that Turkey will sign without delay. .
FOUR YANKS KILLED IN SIBERIA ACTION

One officer and three enlisted men were killed, two men were wounded and one officer and four enlisted men were captured in recent fighting with antiKolchak forces in Siberia, the war department was advised today by Major General Graves, commanding the Siberian expeditionary forces.

Over Thousand Troops Arrive At New York
(By Associated Press) NEW YORK, June 26. The transport Sierra arrived here from Saint Nazaire today with 1,543 troops, including 41 officers and 771 men of the 171st provisional battalion organized from scattered units at the port of embarkation for convenience of transportation. Units represented in the battalion Included the 328th field remount squadron, 3d, 8th and 9th mobile hospitals, 101st bakery company, 18th sanitary squadron, 52d and 56th hospital trains, and 30th company transportation corps. Other units on board included two officers and 272 men of the 324th service battalion and email detachments from the 330th bakery company, 307th butchery company, 66th field artillery, scattered casuals and 273 sick anJ wounded.

Miss Amy Horton, of Richmond, who was with the Overseas Theatre company for several weeks in France last fall when she went directly up to the front to give entertainments," and as a result, suffered a gas attack, has arrived in New York city, according to a message received by her mother, Mrs. Belle H.
