A gen eral strike of bakers in Louisville will be called by the Bakery and Confec tionery Employes' International Union, if a committee appointed to investigate alleged discriminations against employes on strike at two plants returns a report favoring a walkout, according to announcement by Carl Fisher, a union official. It is estimated by labor leaders that the union has the power to call out 2,000 union bakers here and this will

Should a city wide strike be ordered it is said it would materially endanger Louisville's bread supply. Bishops Are Honored At Centenary Meet Today (By Associated Press) COLUMBUS. O., June 26. This was "bishops day" at the Methodist centenary celebration here. Methodist Episcopal church officials, many bishops, hundreds of district superintendents and ministers review a spectacular "procession of the nations" and joined in a mass meeting. It was said that nearly every bishop of the church was in attendance, the largest congregation of Methodist bishops every held. The bishops will discuss church re-construction problems. A navy dirigible balloon which was to have come here, today from Akron will not arrive until tomorrow, because of weather conditions, it was announced.
