Will soon center in the home. After the first glow of romance wanes, the practical problems of home-making are uppremost in the heart of every woman, and upon the. sensible solution of these problems rests the enduring happiness of the home. A comfortable home, a place wherein we are proud to welcome friends, is the cornerstone of married life In planning your home there is nothing more important, nothing in which you are more interested than the inside appearance. The architectural design of the house and the lay out of your lawn and garden should be carefully planned, but unless your furniture, rugs and draperies are carefully selected in accordance with a well thought out plan you will not be satisfied. An unwise selection is an expense. In other words it's not so much a question of how much you invest, but rather one of what you select. Wisdom will lead you to consult those who have had experience. Advice can be had from your friends, who have had the experience of furnishing homes, or you can come to Reed's and profit by the knowledge of Salesmen and workmen gained by long time service. This store is always interested in making sales, but the making of friends is the best thing we do. No trouble to show you through and figure estimates.

side and the Red Bobs ripened sis
days earlier.
Bed Bobs and the new Thompson variety arc expected to bring under cultivation millions of acres which were supposed to He too far north
for wheat production.
Marquis wheat was developed
from Bed Fife by Charles E. Saun dere, government cereallst, on the ex pert mental farm at Ottawa.
Marquis wheat sometimes suffers from rust, which usually makes 1U appearance In Canada In late July or early August. Bed Bobs begins tc ripen before rust appears and is but little liable to damage from this
plague, it Is said.
Thompson's variety ripens so early that It Is claimed to be Immune to
rust. For years the Canadian govern raent has been trying, at its expert
mental farms, to develop a variety
of wheat that would ripen early enough to escape frosts and rust, and the government Besearch Council recently made a special appropriation so that Professor Thompson might continue his experiments. These two varieties of wheat may or may not be of particular value to farmers In the United States, but the fact that they promise to extend the wheat belt many miles northward will be of Interest to American wheat growers as well as to those in Canada and other countries.
