RICHMOND POLICE TO WEAR GREY HELMETS
Members of the Richmond police force may discard their uniform caps this summer in favor of grey helmets, formerly worn by the department, according to Chief Gorman. Richmond patrolmen have worn caps for several years, but they have been found to be very uncomfortable in warm weather, and the grey helmets are much lighter and more comfortable for summer wear.
Modesty is a matter of taste and some of that which purports to he is mighty bad taste.

The cool fighter always wins and so
Uiere is no need to become panicstricken. Avoid fear and crowds. Ex
ercise in the fresh air and practise the three Cs: a Clean Mouth, a Clean Skin and Clean Bowels. To carry off the poisons that accumulate within the body and to ward off an attack of the influenza bacillus, take a good liver regulator; to move the bowels, such as Castor Oil or a pill made up of May-apple, leaves of aloe and root of jalap, to be-had at
any drug store, and called Dr. Pierce's Pleasant Pellets. The system should be built np by the use of a good iron tonic, such as "Irontic" tablets, to be obtained at some drug;

Grant Rapid, Wit. "I haro used Dr. Pierce's
medicine and found them very beneficial. I had stomach trouble for about eight year. Had to be very careful what I would eat or I would be down
tick. I Buffered something terrible about a year ago. I started to take 'Golden Medical Disoorery' and two bottles pnt me in fine condition. I can eat anything and do not feel distressed. I had taken many medicines previous to this and had docto.'J prescribe for me, but nothing seemed to give v ' any relief until I started taking this medicine a: it gave me great relief. I take pleasure in recomending it." Afr. Emil Outrdch, 213 litA At North.
