A Word to the Wise Is Sufficient V When buying a used car, buy it from an organization that will stand behind the car. You get the benefit of our ten years experience in the automobile business, when you buy a used car from us. The used cars we have for sale Saturday, are all cars that have been traded in on new Overland cars. Before we accept these cars, they are thoroughly examined and tried out by an expert before we will accept them'in trade. Remember if they are junk we do not take them in. We take them in trade to re-sell and we are very careful about the condition of the cars we take in trade. For that reason when you buy a used car from us,w e are not afraid to guarantee it in every respect. We have only got six used cars on hand and those six are in excellent condition.

NEWCASTLE TO BRING STRONG LINE-UP HERE Rose City Announces Team to Play Here Sunday Locals Line up Players. The lineup that Richmond will use Sunday afternoon when it meets the fast Newcastle team is not ready to be announced, but the management assures Richmond fans that the Richmond club will be a real ball club when it stacks up against the Newcastle team, Sunday afternoon at Exhibition park. The Newcastle team is coming to Richmond with the idea that the Quakers are going to be easy to defeat and expects to add another victory to the long list It has already secured. The Richmond team will be
composed of Class A ball players. It is probable that Richmondians will not see any local players in action this Sunday, but it is the intention of the t management to give Richmond players j a chance to play in fast company. Pete Minner may be included in the Sunday lineup as the management is favorable to Pete's pitching. Jake Fromholz will probably open the game Sunday in the pitcher's box. Fromholz will have good backing for the Sunday game and many players of good standing will tryout for the Richmond team as no other try outs can be had before the game. Houser To Pitch At present it Is the plan of the Richmond management to give either Minner or Hawekotte a chance to show what they can do against league slabmen such as the Newcastle lineup comprises. " To Wash Away Those Wrinkles and Crows feet If your face is disfigured with wrinkles, no matter what the cause, you can quickly dispel every line, even the f.ioet obstinate, by using a simple, home-made wash lotion. Merely dissolve an ounce of powdered saxolite in a half pint witch hazel ingredients found in any drug tore. Bath the face in this, and presto f you scarcely believe your own eyes when you look into your mirror and behold the marvelous transformation! The remarkable astringent action of the saxolite so tightens the skin, wrinkles are literally pressed out. Best of all, this result is not purely temporary, for the lotion also has a healthful tonic action, which tends to strengthen and tone up the weakened tissue, and added benefit may be expected with continued use. Use this once a day for awhile: it cannot injure the most delicate akin. The treatment itself leaves no trace -no one guesses the secret of your increasing youthful appearanoe. .
Jim Houser who will pitch Sunday for Newcastle, has had several years of league experience. Houser started in league ball in the Blue Grass league In 1912 and finished that season In the South Michigan league. In 1913 to July 9, 1915 he played with Battle Creek, Mich., and from the latter date he commenced . playing with Grand Rapids in the Central league. In 1917 he came to the Maxwells where he has since played. , Oscar Dugey is the big man of the Newcastle club. Duger is a National league fielder. - In 1910-11 he played with Dallas in the Texas league and went to New Orleans the middle of the following year. New Orleans won the Southern association pennant that year. In 1913 he again played with Dallas until he was sold to the Boston Braves. The Braves won the pennant while Dugey was with them. In the winter of 1915 he with George Whitted was traded to the Philadelphia club for Lee Magee. He remained with the Philadelphia Nationals for three years. In 1915 Philadelphia won the National pennant. Last year Philadelphia sold Dugey to St. Paul but as he could not agree with Kelly of St. Paul he accepted a position with the Newcastle Maxwells as captain of the team, and will play center field for the Rose City crew Sunday. Yantz In Lineup George Yantz who has played in almost every league in the country, will do the receiving for Houser. Yantz

started with the Blue Grass league In 1909, transferred to the Texas league the following year and then went to the Southern league. In 1915 he transferred to the Western league and the following year returned to the central states where he played with Evansvllle in the Central league. college. ' The two high school athletes. Emslie and Smith, are practicing hard
to place in the meet. Emslie who is entered in both the 220 and 440 yard dashes is expected to come out on top. If Emslie shows as much form as he did at Indianapo lis when he ran away with the 440 there, Richmond will connect first place In that event. The showing of athletes In the die trict meet has led to considerable con Jecture as to the probability of state records falling this year. A number of the thinly clad men while competing in' the sectional meets tied or broke the state records Owing to the fact that records In this list can only be broken at th state meet, the records still remain the same unless the feat is repeated Saturday afternoon. In the 1918 Yearbook of the Commonwealth of Australia the statement is made that In the calendar year of 1917. there were 444 labor disputes in the commonwealth, affecting 173,970 workers, who lost 4.599,658 working days and a loss in wages amounting to over 110,000,000.
