; EATON, O., May 22. Four resident of Eaton are In hospitals, where they hare either been or will be operated Qpon. Charles F. Brooks, rice president of the Eaton National bank is at Miami Valley hospital, Dayton, having been removed there Wednesday from his horn for an operation. Miss Joyce Miles, taking a nurses' course of training at Reid Memorial hospital. Richmond, lad., Is a patient at the institution, recovering from the effects of an operation for appendicitis. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Miles, of Eaton.'W. Fowler Zehring Is at Christ hospital, Cincinnati, O., where it Is expected he will submit to an operation Friday of this week. Judge Elam Fisher Is at Christ host Irttal, Cincinnati.-where he has been a patient the last several weeks, following an operation. It is expected he will be brought to his home here the last of this week or the first of next week.-i" - Pastor Back Soon. The Rev. J. C. Mr. Shaw, accompanied by his wife, has been absent the last two months or longer. Teacher to Wed. Announcement of the engagement and approaching marriage of Miss Leda Blgony, of Lebanon, O., teacher In the Eaton schools, and Paul Holtsmuller, of Farmers ville, O., has been made. The announcement was made at a social affair given recently by Mrs. Paul Gruver. Date of the wedding has not been given out. ' Pupils to Give Concert. Pupils of the public schools will give their second annual concert Friday afternoon and evening at the opera house. The afternoon concert will be presented by the pupils of the first fllve grades. The sixth, seventh and eighth grades and the high school will present the evening concert. 8IXTEEN GET DIPLOMA8. LEWISBURO, O., May 22. Sixteen students received diplomas at the annual commencement exercises of the Lewisburg high school, held here Wednesday evening. Ren Mulford, of Cincinnati, addressed the class.
