Galbreath to Peter Meyer, SPLENDID WAY TO REDUCE YOUR WEIGHT There is perhaps no one thing that so plainly shows the passing of our youth as the horrible tendency to put on too much , weight after we have reached the age of 25 or 30 years. However young our faces may appear, the sagging, flabby figure and forty inch waist "gives us away." The cause of this over stoutness is that our stomachs convert the food we eat into fat because there is not enough oxygen in the blood to produce a proper combustion to destroy the excess fatty, tissue. Fat people will be pleased to learn of a simple home method that is wonderfully efficient in reducing weight, quickly and easily without a starving diet, violent j massage or strenuous exercise. Go to any drug store and get a box of Phynola; take five grains after each meal and t bed time. This treatment will often give quick relief from overburdening fat. Phynola taken at meal time assists the stomach in giving you the benefit of the food you eat; at the same time dissolves the fatty tissue from any part of the body where there is excessive fat . By this method many, have reduced their weight a pound a day and there is no flabbiness left. Conkey Drug Co. can supply you with the genuine Phynola at a small cost. Adv.

It may seem early to talk of the white summer shoes, but they are 'making themselves noticeable in the shops. To prove that the oxford is the thing here there are two pair to one of pumps. The walking shoes below are brown leather and white suede with corrugated rubber soles. They1 are the proper thing for wear on the spring walks in the country or on the summer beaches. The all-white canvas oxfords at the righj are the smartest kind of footwear for the summer sports use. They are worn with white silk novelty hose which has green silk clover leaves embroidered on the instep.-The pumps at the left, while not as popular as oxfords, are still the accepted thing for dress wear. They are exquisitely made colonial pumps of white kid. The rain sticks for this eeason are very different from the long tapering ones of the past years. They are short and decidedly large as to handle. Those pictured below have quaint china handles of blue rose and yellow design They are cither rain or sun shades.
