With his usual agility Fred finishes

the dance, which takes place on a ballroom floor, jumps to a balcony, seizes a rope, and swinging it through an open window, lassoes the Count of Bullion-nia, as the latter is about to leave on an elopement party. It is the most daring piece of acrobatic fun seen here in some time. MURRETTE Did you know that the American

Three High Class Acts

At Murray This Week The Murray management more than fulfilled their prediction when they reported that the bill which opened yesterday .would be the "class bill" ot the season. About one hundred members of the local state militia

formed a box party occupying the entire west portion of the theatre, while crowds fairly fought for admittance even tor the second performance. It is a "girt" show nearly in its entirety, there being but two men on the program. . We do not know where some of these Broadway producers have been to have overlooked Flo and Ollie Walters, two of the cleverest girls we have had the pleasure to review for some time. These girls have : youth, refinement, talent, and personality all in their favor, and one of these days we will hear about them along New York's Great White Way. They sing and dance in a style distinctly their own, and they were easily the applause hit of the bill last night, and that is saying something, for every act went over big. Kelson and Castle a typical Keith big-time act, were another big hit, and have a clever and refined offering. The man's comedy is a hit, while Miss 'Castle possesses a beautiful voice, displaying it in a number ot big selections. These folks were at one time featured in "Katinka," playing the principal roles during its Broadway run. The Rainbow Revue con

tains a bevy, ot pretty girls, a wealth of elaborate scenery and wardrobe, and three exceptional clever principals. Miss Marguerite Evans is -. a charming prima donna with a voice ot silver, and . an enchanting smile, while Miss Apna Bell is an eccentric dancer working along the lines of the girl who scored last winter In Parlor, Bedroom and Bath.' A! GarbeHe is a

Juvenile who both sings and dances

very satisfactorily. This offering js a delight to both the eye and ear, and is about the niftiest thing in the feminine line seen here this season. Fred Stone in his ", new picture, "Johnny Get Your Gun," delighted last night and attributed not a . little toward making this big May festival week one of the most noteworthy of the season. This show plays the entire last half.

PREBLE BOY REPORTED KILLED, REACHES 0. S.

. EATON, O., May 8. Preble county's personal tax duplicate this year will show a substantial Increase over last year and probably present the

biggest personal duplicate since the voluntary personal tax return law went into effect The time limit for making returns, without penalties attached, expired Wednesday. There was a big rush Monday and Tuesday at the office of County Auditor Albert Campbell,, when a total of 2,200 returns were filed in the two days. After an attack of what is thought to have been sleeping: illness, Loy Turman. of near New Hope, apparently is fully recovered. He slept the greater part of ten days and at one time slept twenty-four hours without awakening. His waking periods were not of long duration, but he was able -to take nourishment and' conversed rationally. At this time he seemingly is not suffering any ill effects from the strange experience. As a "booster'-' for the Victory-Liberty loan drive locally, a film released by the government will be exhibited here Sunday afternoon at the Eatonian motion picture theater.
