NEW LEAGUE PROJECT ; ON IN FORT WAYNE For several weeks baseball fans of Fort Wayne have been agitating the formation of a Central league and have finally get it through their skulls that the Central league will not go. Now they plan to make it a Three-I league. According to a press announcement coming from Fort Wayne, initial efforts on the part of those behind the movement to give that city league ball were instituted Sunday. The announcement further states that there is little doubt in the ultimate success of the project now entertained. That there are a few men agitating Three-I league ball in Fort Wayne is certain but the whole matter seems to be clothed in a degree of secrecy. Richmond baseball men predict that the whole thing will simmer down In a few days as they believe there are not enough real sports In Munci who will plant $10 in a fans' association which is the present proposal. It seems to be a fight between Louis Heilbroner on one faction and Vandegrift, owner of the Ft. Wayne league franchise, on the other. According to the announcement, A. R. Tearney, president of the Three-I league and Mayor Bosse will help materialize the fans' association. Even if Fort Wayne does not organize its fan association Richmond fandom is wondering what city will enter the Three-I league to make the eighth city. It is understood here that Grand Rapids and Muskegon are now leaning toward the Michigan league if they haev not already agreed to enter and Springfield is out of the question. Within a few days Fort Wayne fans will give up the project, is the belief in Richmond. Exhibition Games Indianapolis, April 22. Chicago Americans 13 19 0 Indianapolis (Am.
