Acknowledgement of Record Contribution Is Received Mrs. Charles Marvel, who was chairman of the Wsyne county phonograph record recruiting campaign, held here several months ago, has received a letter from Josephine S. Lowell, executive secretary of the national recruiting corps for records, who explained that the Wayne county shipment was sent to storage In New York and as they were not notified at headquarters, several months passed before the shipment was received.

"Finally I wrote to freight agent of the railroad and after another month's oelay received word that they were here, but had been sent to storage, ' Miss Lowell wrote. "It took us some little time longer ", to get them out and bring them to 7 headquarters. Storage costs had been piling up all this time, but the warehouse man knowing it had been no fault of ours kindly waived the charges and all we had to pay was LC5 for cartage." Miss Lowell expressed great appreciation for the "Wayne county cooperation in the drive, and said that the records upon receipt were put to immediate and needed use. "They reached us at a time when our supply of records was very low. and the demands were very heavy and touching," she said.
