OHIO TO GARNER LARGEST WHEAT CROP ON RECORD
Preble Among Counties to Show Increased Acreage Other Ohio Notes. COLUMBUS. April 11 "The largest wheat crop ever produced in Ohio will be harvested this year If the present favorable condition! continue." states N E. Shaw secretary of agriculture, la commenting on the Joint crop report of the Ohio Department of Agriculture and the U. 8. Bureau of Crop Estimates, issued at Columbus. The condition on April 1 was reported at slightly over 104 percent, compared to a ten-year average condition on April 1, of 80 percent. The first estimate of production expressed In bushels will be issued on May 1. From present indications this will be between fifty-five and sixty million bushels or better. The December report, the last one issued, showed a total acreage planted of 2,608,000 acres, or an increase of 11 percent over the previous year, and a condition of 104 percent of normal. The damage from winter killing and Hes
sian fly up to April 1 was practically negligible, being only a little over one percent for the entire state. No Snow Protection. During the greater part of the past winter the crop had little or no snow protection, but because of the mildness of the winter and satisfactory moisture conditions, the crop suffered practically no setbacks and is now making splendid growth. The crop was sown under the most favorable conditions and had made a fine root growth before cold weather set in. The high condition is general throughout the state.

Here's A Gentle Laxative For Elderly People
A dally free movement of the bowel becomes a eriona problem as you step from middle-life into old age, and much dependence can no longer be placed on nature herself. The bowels find artificial aid necessary. The stronger the physic, at o& people soon learn, the greater the contraction of the bowel thereafter, and so the wise purposely avoid salt waters, pUl and other harsh purgatives. Many have leaded to place absolute reliance on the gentle but positive action of a combination of simple laxative herb with pepsin sold by druggist under the of Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin. , It produces an agreeable movement as nearly natural and free as high pharmaceutical skill can make It. Thousand use it regularly, in the small dose prescribed, and keep themselves in fine health and good cheer, and entirely free rem constipation. t ; The drugtiat will refund your money if it fqflm to do promised. :
