RABBIT CLUBS TO BE FORMED OVER INDIANA
School Children Shown New Method of Helping Increase Food Production.
LAFAYETTE, Ind.. April 4. In cooperation with Otia Crane, county agricultural agent, the Liberty Rabbit club of this city, -which was organized a year and a half ago to increase food production has started a movement for a state-wide organization of boys' and girls' rabbit clubs. It is proposed to organize one In every county and rural community, seventy agricultural agents throughout Indiana having expressed themselves as In sympathy with the plan and ready to lend active support. The idea Is to form boys' and girls clubs for rabbit production, just as clubs have been formed for cattle, hog and sheep production. It is intended to have a state rabbit show for all boys and girls whose rabbits win premiums at county shows previously held, and to award special cups and other prizes for the best rabbits and the best production records. The Lafayette organization is one of the largest and most active of its kind in the United States, and its members have made a great success of rabbit raising, their products being in constant demand In the local market.

Second Collision in Twenty Minutes Too Much for Ben Vick Ben Vick, horsetrader on North Twelfth street, kept his temper and said nothing when his buggy was smashed Into by William Rohlig, Junk dealer, Thursday night, but when another motorist ran into him twenty minutes after the first he lost his temper. "I am mad now, and someone has to settle if I am going to be knocked all over the street," cried Vick. "The first smash broke a shaft and a front wheel, while the second completed the work by breaking a rear wheel and damaging the rear of the buggy. Rohlig who collided with him the first time, was said by police to have been driving fast.
Over Hundred Men Killed At Fort Worth Air Fields FORT WORTH, Tex., April 4 Records show that at the three Fort Worth air fields, where flying practically erased today and all enlisted men were discharged. 106 men were killed from Nov. 7, 1917, to April 1. 1919. During the time- the British Royal Flying Corps trained its squadrons here, fifty students, officers and mechanics met fatal mishaps. Since the Americans took over the fields fifty-six have been killed.

WASHINGTON. April 4. Representative Good of Iowa, in a statement yesterday, predicted the passing of the "billion dollar" congress of prewar days, and the coming during the peace period of "four billion dollar" congresses.

SAN FRANCISCO, April 4. Consideration of anti-Japanese legislation was discontinued in the Calif orrIa state senate yesterday, pending an answer to a cablegram sent to President Wilson intended to ascertain if the legislation would embarrass the American delegation at the peace conference at tbtls time.

LONDON, April 4 At a national conference held here today under the auspices of the Trade Union Congress and the Labor party a resolution was adopted unanimously declaring that the covenant of the league of nations nhould form a part of the preliminary treaty of peace. ROBBERS DYNAMITE SAFE.
HUNTINGTON, W. Va., April 4. Word received yesterday by Huntington police stated that robbers dynamited the safe of the National bank of Ansted, 70 miles east of Huntington early Wednesday morning and secured $50,000.

PARIS, April 4. Hungarian government has assured peace conference delegates at Budapest that it does not intend to extend to Americans the order for confiscation of property of foreigners. The Women's International League is of the opinion that women should be represented by women at the councils of peace.
Figures indicate Danzig and other points of interest in European developpments. A settlement of the Danzig situation is expected within a few days. Marshal Foch has been given instructions and full authority by the allied peace conference to end the dispute. The Poles demand Danzig for a seaport. The Germans Bay they will fight to keep the Poles out. The allied officials have given Poland permission to land troops at Danzig. 1 The Germans in East Prussia are reported to be concentrating larpa forces under Von Hindenburg to oppose the landing of 'the Poles at Danrig. Bodies of troops are held in Germany border fortress of Thorn and et Graudenz. 2 Portion of German Silesia that the Poles want. 3 Part of Czecho-Slovakia formerly a part of Hungary and still in dispute with the Magyars. 4 .Transylvania in dispute between the Roumanians and the Magyars. There is a large German setttlement there demanding independence. 5 An allied expedition has landed at Constanza, the Black Sea port of Roumania. These troops are on their way to Hungary to suppress the Reds and insure the carrying out of the terms of the armistice.

Stolen Milk Causes Complaint to Police Two boy3 who were drinking milk left at a grocery at North A and Fifth streets at 4 o'clock this morning, were arrested by police. Many complaints of stolen milk have been made by people all over town, and Chief Gorraon hopes that the arrest of the two boys will check the practice.
Subscription Cards Sent Oat for Gorgorza Concert Subscription cards were sent out today to a number of musically Interested people of Richmond and vicinity asking their support in securing a concert by Emilio de Gorgorza, baritone, here on April 30. To bring de Gorgorza to Richmond it will be necessary to secure a subscription list of at least 800 persons by next Tuesday, at which time the option must be accepted of rejected. Persons getting subscription cards are urged to return them immediately to George Eggemeyer or R. B. Jones, and any one interested who has not received a card is asked to phone either Mr. Eggemeyer or Mr. Jones. It Is hoped that this great baritone can be secured for Richmond as it will undoubtedly be one of the biggest musical events If Its history, if he is brought here.
