One of the oldest established stores in the State of Indiana is soon to "pass from your midst" and become a closed chapter in the history of retailing: The Railroad Store will close its doors forever on Saturday, April 12th. To our army of loyal friends I say "Good-Bye" with personal regrets but proud in the knowledge that I have never betrayed the confidence you have at all times so unhesitatingly given us. .This is an absolute bona fide going our of business sale and it will eclipse anything ever attempted by us, or any other merchant in the country, for it is only under a like condition that it is possible to practically give goods away. The personal and intimate relations that exist between a live store and its hosts of patrons is the hardest link to break when this store goes out of business. The friends our merchandise and low prices have made for us are not easy to part with, but I am going out of their midst with a bargain celebration that in the future will bring back fond memories.
