DISCHARGES ARE GIVEN QUICKLY AT IU CAMPS Men From Overseas Retained Only 48 Hours Before Release, Says Baker. (Br Associated Press) WASHINGTON, March 27 Upon his return to Washington today from a trip through the country visiting army demobilization centers In company with General . March, chief of staff. Liberty Woman to Speak at Temperance Celebration Mrs. Elizabeth Stanley, of Liberty, vice-president of the Indiana Woman's Christian Temperance Union, will be a speaker at the first annual celebration of the prohibition workers at the Masonic Temple, Indianapolis, April 2. Other speakers will be Mrs. Culla J. Vayinger, state president of the W. C. T. U., Virgil Hlnshaw of Chicago, L. ESellers of Indianapolis, Isaac N. Grisso, prohibition state chairman A number of Wayne county women will attend. The meeting is being arranged by the Woman's Christian Temperance Union, the Indiana Dry Federation and

the state prohibition organization. One of the features of the occasion will be "The Burial of John Barleycorn." The "funeral hymn" has been written by the Rev. Charles M. Fillmore, pastor of the Eastern Heights Christian church of Indianapolis. Indianapolis clergymen will act as pall bearers.
