One Challenge Thus Far In High Tennis Try out ,Out of the six men selected to represent the high school in tennis this spring at the start of the season, three have been challenged. William Emslie challenged William Haberkern; Ted Keisker challenged Lewis Wilson and Frank Crowe challenged Sid Watt. Out of these challenges only one will be played. The match between Frank Crowe and Lewi3 Wilson will be played as soon as the courts are put in shape. Ted Keisker was not enrolled at high school at all this term and so Is not eligible. William Emslie decided not to play "Bill" Haberkern and to withdraw his name from the list. The six men to be challenged are George Eversman, Ted Van Allen, Sid Watt, Richard Thornburgh, Lewis Wilson and Bill Haberkern. Anyone challenging and defeating any of the six will be on the team until challenged and defeated by some one else. Six men on the team will go on any trips the team may make to other schools, but in any matches played at home probably seven men will be used. A substitute will be selected for the home matches to make up the seven men.

Roy Chenoweth of New Madison, O., died Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Reid Memiroal hospital of

PARDNER OF BOWLING CHAMP ON TEAM HERE

J. C. Clayton, former bowling pardner of Jimmy Smith, heralded world's champion bowler, is In Richmond and will bowl with one of the Richmond teams at Indianapolis, April 12. Clayton traveled with Smith for a season, touring the country putting on bowling .exhibitions. He Is traveling out of here for a Dayton firm. Wednesday afternoon Clayton bowled twelve games, on the Twigg alley, his lowest score being 208 and his high score 228. He is a consistent bowler and Richmond bowling fans are elated over the prospects of adding him to the team that will go to Indianapolis. " The team on which Clayton will work will be composed of King. Bennett, Youngflesh, Martin and Meyers. This team has now Its full six men while the other team which Is planning to enter the meet thus far has only five men. They are Slade, Smith, Erk, Jones and Lichtenfels. Another man will be included to put the team in the doubles. Both teams will enter the five-men events and both doubles and singles.

Milroy Center Not Badly Hart, Letter Asserts Center Richey of the Milroy basketball team, who was injured during the playing of the tournament in the Coliseum here two weeks ago, was not seriously hurt, according to a letter received Thursday by high school of

ficials. The missive was a reply to one addressed to Milroy inquiring as to the condition of Richey. The latter returned to his studies in the high school on Tuesday following the tournament here.
