GRAIN QUOTATIONS
E. W. WAGNER A CO.'S REVIEW CHICAGO, March 13. The news today haa been of a bearish hew, namely the failure of packers to follow the advance of hog prices with the liberal carrying over of hogs last night Packers disposition to sell products in the pit. continued offerings of Argentine corn, who' have shown a reasonable' assurance to ship, and poof eastern cash demand, to say nothing of the attorney-general'8 statement that Washington is watching closely any attempts as to hoarding foodstuffs with the view of forcing the American public to pay exorbitant prices on account of Germany's needs, caused a five cent break in corn values. Buying support has been poor. Especially large selling yesterday and early to
day by way of securing profits. " Corn and oats showed that the technical position is bad on account of 4arge short 8 covering. Country rosds In bad condition, reported to be retarding movements. ,
