Who will wear. the crown out of the ring when Jess Willard, heavy champ, and Jack pempsey, challenger, meet? That's what every boxing fan in the country is trying to dope out. Hundreds of thousands of dollars will be bet on the battle. It undoubtedly Is tho toughest heavyweight bout in history to size up in advance. One of the boxing authorities best qualified to pass judgment on the relative merits of the two men and attempt to pick the winner is Matt Hinkel, well known fight promoter and referee. Hinkel has seen both men in action. He has watched both men and was alternate referee at the bout In Havana, Cuba, when Willard won the title from Jack Johnson. He has had many a chat with Willard. He is undoubtedly one of the keenest men in the game, so his words bear weight. I ran into Matt the other day and during our.chinfest the talk. turned. to. the coming setto. - -. - Said Matt: "If the fight Is a short, no-decision affair, there Isn't a chance in the world that Willard will lose his title. To get it Dempsey would have to knock out Jess and that can't be done in a short bout. Willard is so big and rangy that he can just stand up j straight, head well back, and keep Dempsey away from him for ten or twelve rounds. i S. A. L. "Willard, in a short contest, probably would fight simply to keep his title, being mostly on the defensive. Should Jack keep boring in, pecking away at Willard, the challenger's aggressiveness might earn him . .the newspaper victory. , But that would not give him the crown. If It la a Long Bout. "As to a long distance affair of twenty-five rounds or more. If Willard fails to regain his old-time form Dempsey will have a chance to get the title. But if Willard has lost none of his ability, hitting power and stamina -if he is now as he was when he met Johnson there isn't a man in the world who can' lick him. '"Willard has grown much since then. He has filled out more and has taken on some Weight. " How much of this weight he can take ofE by diligent training no one. can estimate. Much depends on that. the obstacle always gaining the ends they sought? This country's worst enemy now is "Doubt." If doubt is fostered by business men retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, bankers one hundred million people will also doubt. One hundred million people will cease buying everything but bare essentials. Retailers will be unable to dispose of their stocks. Wholesalers will find no market for their merchandise. Manufacturers will have to curtail production. Money will be scarce and high. Unemployment general. Eusiness failures frequent. Doubt and nothing but doubt will be the cause. The actual facts are that to-day there is more wealth in the United States than ever before. Almost every individual is earning a higher wage. Has greater savings. Is anxious to live better, to have more comfort and luxury, to enjoy to the uttermost the peace with victory that has blessed their nation. There never was a time when prosperity could or should have been as great as it ought to be how. And as it mil be if the banker, the manufacturer, the whole saler and the retailer do their part to create active buying--especially now, through the transition period of business from a war to a peace basis. Buying now means immediate employment to all munition workers and returning soldiers, in factories, wholesale houses, retail stores and all other business institutions. It means a return to a peace basis quickly, without panic, without suffering, without unemployment with prosperity. How, then, is this condition to be brought about this buying to be fostered? How are our hundred million inhabitants to be informed of the true situation? When the government wanted to sell Liberty Bonds to the millions, intensified selling organizations and tremendous advertising campaigns in the press of the the country were inaugurated. In no other way could the entire American public be reached, and it is more than merely good business judgment for the merchant and the manufacturer to use publicity now as never before it is a duty, the paramount issue of patriotism. Panic is but a state of mind; an expression of fear; a doubt of ourselves and our fellows; a miser's trait no true American should permit. It can be averted by publicity: it should be and it must be. Nelson Chesman & Company offer their services to any and all responsible business institutions interested in bridging the period of readjustment by assisting in the creation of that structure of public confidence so necessary at this time. No obligation whatsoever will be incurred through consultation, and recommendations will be made entirely subject to approval.

Willard Mill outweigh him close to eighty pounds. No matter how poor a fightei the bigger man may be eighty pounds gives him a great advantage. As to the Weather. "Weather conditions may have something to do with the outcome if the bout is a long one. Dempsey never has fought a long battle in the open under a hot sun. What effect a sizzling day would have on his is unknown. I do not know that Willard can stand the heat. There never was another day as hot as the one in which Willard beat Johnson at Havana. The heat peeled the hide off my face and I was sitting down at the ringside. The. fighters were literally boiling. But Willard did not mind it."

What is Rheumatism? Why Suffer from It?
Sufferers Should Realize That It Is a Blood Infection and Can Be Permanently Relieved. Rheumatism means that the blood has become saturated with uric acid poison. It does not require medical advice to know that good health is absolutely dependent upon pure blood. When the muscles and joints become sore and drawn with rheumatism, it is not a wise thing to take a little salve and by rubbing it on the sore spot, expect to get rid of your rheumatics. You must go deeper than that, down deep into the blood where the poison lurks and which is not affected by salves
