Wounded "Hero" Arrested , as Deserter in New York ALBANY,, N. Y, Jan. 7, James G. Morton, who posed here for two weeks as a wounded sergeant of the famous Sixty-ninth regiment of New York and was gladly welcomed by patriotic Albanians, was arrested as a deserter and impersonator by a representative of the department of Justice. He spoke at theatres and other gatherings for the Red Cross drive and had just been announced as one of tbe speakers at a Red Cross street meeting when be was taken into custody. In his talks, he told how he had been wounded in France Fhortly after his brother bad been shot dead beside him, and he extolled the work of the Red Cross. He carried a can and walked with a limp.
