The directors of The Reed Furniture Co. in order to show their appreciation of the employees during the year 1918, have generously turned over the management of the store to us during the entire month of January, and are giving a generous share of the profits on all merchandise sold during month. We realize that the year just closed, which was by far the greatest in the history of the store was not due to our efforts alone, and that the liberal patronage afforded this store by the public was due to the exceptional quality and prices that are the principals upon which the store is conducted combined with unequalled service. To these things are attributed our great growth, and in order to show our appreciation, we are going to share our earnings with you during the month, and have designated this plan as a mutual profit-sharing event, in which we, the employees profit you the buying public also profit to the extent of receiving 10 to 30 discount on everything you buy. The reputation of the Reed Furniture Co., in eastern Indiana and western Ohio for carrying the most complete line of home, furnishings, is to, well known to make it necessary for us to quote special prices on each article at this time, so we are going to quote, as above stated a 10 to 30 discount on all merchandise during sale. We want to make our business a real pleasure and a helpful one also, we assure you it is a real satisfaction to the firm also to the employees to place at your command all of the many facilities of this store, that are provided for your convenience and comfort, and with this thought in mind, we have inaugurated the most helpful and liberal plan for taking care of charge accounts no collectors no unreasonable demands no embarrasing questions no interest charged, just your word, and during this sale you are at liberty to take advantage of this liberal plan, at the reduced prices and open a charge account. We invite you to our store, whether buying or not, and we will be pleased to show you our immense stock, and help you plan for your present and future needs. Again we thank you for the wonderful business of 1918, and trust we may merit and enjoy the spirit of good fellowship in 1919, in a larger degree. By THE EMPLOYEES of the REED FURNITURE GO.
We, the undersigned employes
will participate in this generous and unusual offer made to us by the Reed Furniture Co. and hope to see you during this sale
