FIRST UNIT OF WOMEN TO BE SENT TO FRANCE BY THE JEWISH WELFARE BOARD
Maybe even a dog gets worried about the flu. An airdale dog belonging to Sidney Rose of the Railroad store, must have had it in mind anyway, when he wandered into the post-
I office yesterday. Postmaster Beck likes dogs so he offered his guest a cough drop. Half an hour later the dog descended the postoffice steps,

WINCHESTER MAN IS ELECTROCUTED
WINCHESTER. Ind., Dec. 20 Samuel Dynes, 20 years old, was instantly killed yesterday when he came out of the office of his father, J. C. Dynes, and took hold of a guy wire which was. highly charged with electricity. The wire was probably charged with electricity by coming in contact with another wire. No one had any idea that the wire was charged. His brother John is at Camp McClellan, Ala., and the family is waiting to hear from him before making the funeral arrangements.
