Payne of the Presbyterian church and Rev. Frank Cornell of the Friends church. POSTMASTER RESIGNS WINCHESTER, Dec. 12. The people of Winchester were surprised Sat? urday when It was announced that E. S. Edger. postmaster here, had tentered his resignation. An acting postcaster will be appointed to succeed Edger pending an examination for the position. Mr. Edger has been a lifelong democrat.
