Preble C ounty Faces' Added Expense as Result- of Collision Accident Cuts Off Gas Supply. EATON', O.. Dec. 5. After Inspecting the? damage. County Surveyor John Ilyder and the county commissioners estimated it would cost the county $H,0) to replace the bridge at Ban-' ta's Fork, that was wrecked Wednesday when an automobile crashed into the structure. The structure is approximately 100 feet in length and of standard width, and a cresote block wood floor was recently put in the bridge at a cost o fabout $1,200. Names of the person or persons, occupying the car at the time of the accident could not be ascertained, although, from papers found in the wrecked car, it is thought it was driven by n member of the government aircraft service presumably1 from Dayton. It is said an officer and private of the aircraft service occupied

Dr. C. A. Ibile, erf Dayton, lectured here Wednesday evening to a large audience of military registrants of Preble county upon the subject'of personal hygiene.

Upon appeal from the local common pleas court, the Lola Austin will case was heard Wednesday in Dayton by the court of appeals. Certain heirs took exception to the local court's construction of the will, which was sought by the administrator. In an action filed in common pleas court, F. A. EATON, O., Dec. J. E. Voge has reported to the police the theft of more than 200 pounds of lard from his slaughter house, near here. The door of the building was forced.

French matches are now even poorer than usual, because the French government, in a laudable desire for economy, sold the timber of several condemned barracks to the matchmakers.
