JAPAN LOYAL TO WAR ALLIANCE
WITH ENTENTE
Ready to Co-operate With America for League of Na
tions, Says Minister. (By Associated Press) t Toklo. Nov. 19. Japan is as loyal to the "great alliance caused by this war" as she is to the Anglo-Japanese alliance, declared vTscoun Uchlda, the minister of foreign affairs in the new Japanese cabinet in an interview today. She regards the alliance with Great Britain as the cornerstone of her foreign policy, he added. "We are impressed," he coninued, "by the most recent utterances of the President of the United States, addressing the people of that country. AMSTERDAM, Nor. 19. Ten thousand servant girls at Stuttgart, the capital of Wuerttemberg, were mobilized recently to help unloading freight cars. Each has to give one day or two half days a week to this work. They are paid men's wages.
