"In Belgium, we have passed the railroad running between Beurain and Florenville. Farther east we have reached the line of Hoffagne, Bertrlx and Strainmont. Our troops are also in the Jamoigne region, south of Neuf Chateau. "In Lorraine we have occupied St.-Aux-Chesnes on the south bank of the Nled river and are on the road toward St. Avoid. We are in the region of the heights of the Saar. Our troops have made entry into Saarburg, Dieuze and Mohrangan. PROVEN SWAMP-ROOT AIDS WEAK KIDNEYS The pymptcms of kidney and bladder troubles are often very distressing and leave the system in a run-down condition. The kidneys seem to suffer most, as almost every victim complains of lame back and urinary troubles which should not be neglected, as these danger sissnals often lead to more dangerous kidney troubles. Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Root which, so many people say. soon heals and Ptrengthens the kidneys, is a splendid kidney, liver and bladder medicine, and, being an herbal compound, has a gentle healing effect on the kidneys, which is almost immediately noticed in most cases by those who use it. A trial will convince anyone who may be in need of it. Better get a bottle from your nearest drug store, and start treatment at once. However, if you wish first to test this great preparation send ten cents to Dr. Kilmer & Co.. Binghamton, N. V., for a sample bottle. When writing be sure and mention the : Richmond Palladium. Adv. ONE MORE DAY LEFT IN WHICH TO RAISE QUOTA

The United War Fund Campaign still lacks its quota in the city of Richmond and in Wayne county, according to reports filed with atfting secretary George Eggemeyer at the campaign headquarters in the Masonic Temple up to 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Richmond has yet to raise $4,000. Reports show that some strenuous work must be done before Wednesday night if the quota 13 reached. Some townships have made no report as to the results of the campaign. Webster township has raised fivesixths of its quota of $1,208. The following message has been sent out to the solicitors and captains from Commander-in-chief Lontz, and Generals Harrington and Romey saying: "The United War Fund campaign is extended until Wednesday night. Richmond is short $5,000. Have you conscientiously done your duty? Our soldiers and sailors have covered themselves with glory; can't we cover ourselves with glory by raising our quota? Newspaper reports about the boys coming home are pleasing to fathers and mothers, but it took eighteen months to get them over. The job 'over there' is finished and Uncle Sam never did a half way job. Now go out and get the money. If you can't work get a substitute. These soldiers must have every consideration and we the people of Richmond must do our share. Arise to the emergency. There cannot be any eleventh hour slackers. Report direct to headquarters before Wednesday evening." In reference to the National United War Work Campaign, John R. Mott, Director-General, gave out the following telegram yesterday from Secretary of War Baker, reference being made to the demobilization of troops EARLHAM AGAIN IN QUARANTINE Earlham college will be quarantined under the new ban in the same manner as it was under' the previous ban. The day students will come into the dormitories or get their, assignments on the telephone and see their professors. The faculty members who do not come into contact with the disease in their homes or elsewhere will go to and from as before. Those who have it in their homes or who are apt to come in contact with it, will remain at the college. There has not been a single case of. influenza in Earlham but Dr. Edwards said that conditions might not j be as favorable this time as there ! seem to be more cases everywhere now than there have been berore. Twelve cases could be isolated at KnHham hut if there should be morei it would be necessary to take the patients elsewhere. 658,665 BRITISHERS KILLED LONDON, Nov. 19 The total of British losses in killed on all fronts during the war was 658,665, James Ian Macpherson, parliamentary secretary for the war office announced in the house of commons today.
