Mrs. Morton Wilt died last night at her home of influenza. She leaves a husband. .. .On account of poor health Ed Updyke living on hia farm north of town will sell off his property soon . . . .Walter Bossert. chairman of the Republican party of the Sixth district, after a visit to several districts . in the state, reported that chances of a Republican victory were very bright.. . . This week Albert Post, V. J. McCarty, Paul Farley, Gilbert Bond, Francis Farley, all of Liberty and Albert Mitchell, Ralph Kitchell and Harvey Craft and W. Hoppass all from the country, went to Indianapolis and registered to enter the U. S. Motor transport service. They are now waiting the call to go. The draft service board of this county has been busy with Questionnaires. and eighteen months, evidenced by notes of the purchaser, bearing 6 interest per annum from date, waiving relief, providing for attorneys fees, and secured by first mortgage on the real estate sold.
