IN MEMORIAM. Anna Frances Connell. daughter of Margaret Kearney, and Bartholomew Driseoll, was born at Glendale. Ohio, Bept. 13, 1S74. and departed this life Saturday, Oct. is, 1918, at her late home south of Milton. Indiana. An acute attack of pneumonia which developed with ' such swiftness that those dear ones about ber could not realist the end to be so near, her Illness was Of short duration and the transition from this mortal life into eternal repose was soon complete, Just at early dawn when life was so full of hope and promise. On the IHh day of September, 1899 she was united In marriage to John T. Connell at Glendale, Ohio, and since their marriage they have lived in the community in which she died. Up to the time of her death Mrs. Connell was a patient and efficient helpmate, always rejoicing In her husband's successes and ever ready to sacrifice any comfort and pleasure of her own tor his advancement. To this union nine children were born, all of whom sur vive and together with a devoted nusVband, father and sister, mourn her loss. The children are Mary Mar garet, Paul, Elisabeth. Gertrude. Frances, Cornelius, Blanche, John and Olln. ! She was a devoted member of Saint Elisabeth s Catholic church at cambridge City, Ind., and bore an active part in all social and other church activities. Mrs. Connell was a-woman of sterling worth and noble character. Always the same, no matter what happened, she was esteemed and loved by all who knew her. In her early life she had learned lessons of Industry and domestic economy that made her an excellent home maker and a very useful woman In the community in which she lived. The weak always had her sympathy. She was a loved and loving wife, mother, daughter and sister and not only a large circle of friends will miss 'her but a very devoted family will feel her loss keenly. Mother is gone, fallen into that peaceful sleep that knows no awakening. Passed away while in love with life and raptured with the world. Perhaps it is best. God knows. "Thy will be done." The bright flame of her life is extinguished. The golden thread Is broken. Yet her good deeds and the Influence of her noble character will live forever in the hearts of her children. The sympathy of the Whole community goes out to Mr. Connell and his children, who were their mother's pride. The funeral services were held Tuesday morning, October 22, 1918, at the late home south of Milton. Interment was made In Iiiverstde cemetery at Cambridge City, Indiana. Sleep and rest, no pain or sorrow Casts a shadow o'er thy brow; Earthly Joys and earthly sorrows Can no more disturb thee now. Evening comes, but brings not homeward Her, alas! we loved so well; Morning sunlight cannot wake her From death's strange, mysterious spell. Yet beyond that shining river In God's house of peace and love, We ' shall clasp thee. Dear Mother, to us, There is no parting up above. HELP WANTED MALE ..5 the OPERATORS FEMALE HELP WANTED El
