The Burgomaster cf Arnsberg, Westphalia, Germany, having failed in all endeavors to induce the farmers of the neighborhood to bring in supplies, placed this advertisement in the local newspaper as a final hope: "This municipality will buy all agricultural products for cash at government prices. Be it known that on the 16th day of September, 1918, the above named plaintiff, by his attorney, filed in the office of the clerk of the Wayne Circuit Court his petition against said, defendant for a divorce.
