GIRLS! MAKE A BEAUTY LOTION
j WITH LEMONS
At the cost of a small jar of ordinary cold cream one can prepare a full quarter pint of the most wonderful lemon skin softener and complexion beautifier, by squeezing the juice of two fresh lemons Into a bottle containing three ounces of orchard white. Care should be taken to strain the juice through a fine cloth so no lemon pulp gets in, then this lotion will keep fresh for months. Every woman knows that lemon juice is used to bleach and remove such blemishes as sallowness, freckles and tan, and is the ideal skin softener, smoothener and beautifier. Just try it! Get three ounces of orchard white at any pharmacy and two lemons from the grocer and make up a quarter pint, of this sweetly fragrant lemon lotion and massage it daily into the face, neck, arms and hands. It naturally should help to soften, freshen, bleach and bring out the rosjss and beauty of any skin. It is wonderful to smoothen rough, red hands. Adv.
clever young Jack Pickford, the Paramount star, appears In a continuation of "Tom Sawyer" entitled "Huck and Tom," which, although complete in itself, abounds in the thrills and fun of Mark Twain's original book, taking up the hero's adventures from the discovery of the grave robberies to the finding of gold in the cave where he and
Becky Thatcher are marooned for sev
eral davs. The cast is the same as in
Tom Sawyer," the same "Aunt Polly' skillfully depicted by Edythe Chapman, the same ragged, happy, go-lucky little derelict of a Huck Finn as played by Robert Gordon, and the others the
same with the exception of FranK ianTiine who anDears as Injun Joe, and

FRECKLES AND TAN SOON FADE AWAY A freckle is merely a discolored, "rusty" spot lodged in the skin Itself. Some skins are peculiarly sensitive to the effect of sun and wind. If your skin is that kind, here's good news for you. A chemist, whose freckles used to embarrass him ouite a bit, one day found out that donthol tetrate was a simple and pleasant way of treating this trouble. The skin seems to absorb it quite promptly, and the way it gets after those rusty freckle spots is really wonaerful. Get an ounce of danthol tetrate from anv well known druggist, and apply it with the finger tips twice a day for a few days, and notice the result. This is also an excellent way of removing tan and similar discolorations of the skin. It costs very little and is not a bit unpleasant to use.- Adv.
