Rheumatism Has Never Been Cured by Liniments or Lotions, and Never Will Be. You never knew of Rheumatism that most painful source of suffering being cured by liniments, lotions or other external applications. FALSE ADVERTISING CHARGED AGAINST GOODYEAR COMPANY (By Associated Fresa.) WASHINGTON, July 22. Attempts to mislead the public in its nationwide advertising of "service stations" were charged by the federal trade commission today in a complaint against the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, of Akron, O. The complaint alleges that the stations are not maintained by the defendant, but that the services and conveniences extended to motor car owners are dependent on the individual willingness and ability
of the dealers, and furthermore, that such service is commonly furnished by
dealers regardless of the makes of
tires used by their customers.
Unfair methods of competition also
were charged against the company, including maintenance of standard resale proces, arbitrary control over the
business of dealers through threat of price discrimination and allowance o
wholesale prices to users of many trucks on condition that a fixed percentage, usually ninety per cent of a concern's monthly requirements be filled with Goodyear tires and supplies. Three other companies also were charged today by the commission with price maintenance and refusal to sell to dealers who fail to observe such re-sale prices. They are the Autostrop Safety Razor Company, New York; Kryptok Sales Company, New York; and D. M. Ferry Seed Company, Detroit.

WASHINGTON. Jack Pickford is winning new laurels for himself in "Huck and Tom," at the Washington theater tonight, a continuation of the role, yet a story complete in itself, which he played recently in "Tom Sawyer." The irrepressible Tom, aided and abetted by his friend the disreputable Huck Finn, overhears the grave robbers at their grewsome task and is an unwilling witness of a murder. Later episodes show the well-remembered painkiller incident when Tom administered the medicine to a confiding cat with disastrous results; the finding of the hidden treasure and the panic of the Island when Tom and Becky Thatcher his childish sweatheart are lost in the
cave. An excelent cast and the direction of William D. Taylor who directed "Tom Sawyer" nave made of this Paramount Picture, one of the wholesomest, most amusing of the season. MURRAY. German spies in the United States, as advanced in the William Fox Special, "The Spy," at the Murray tonight, have invaded all walks of life. Bankers and brokers whom no one suspects are in the paid employ of the Imperial Government. Lawyers and physicians are daily receiving instructions from the Wilhelmstrasse. School teachers and others intrusted with the task of guoiding public thought and morals number many representatives of the Kaiser's system. Even the waiters and bell-boys in hotels contain number of German secret police. Grocers, druggists and
chemists watch every movement made by their customers and report suspicious incidents to Berlin.
Miss Harriet Underhill, the widely known writer, calls it "the only tragic farce ever made." "More Trouble" comes to the Murrette theater tomorrow.

Better to Buy Here Than to WISH You Had
OUR American Soldiers should have American Watches
This firm is one of the very few firms which has a line of Elgin, Illinois and Waltham Military Watches, with luminous dials and hands. These watches are almost impossible to obtain and we would advise you to anticipate your wants in these watches. The Elgin, Hamilton and Waltham factories have not taken an order for months except from the government and you know as well as we do that the situation will not improve this year. Do not give your boy an unreliable Swiss watch which he will finally throw away in disgust because it will not keep time, but give him something worth while that he will carry all through this great war and money will not buy that watch from him when he returns home. It is a great deal of satisfaction to us to know that we have not sold any unreliable Swiss military watches, nothing but good reliable American watches, which we are proud to acknowledge as coming from our store. We carry by far the largest stock of watches in Eastern Indiana and will be pleased to have you call and inspect our stock. O. E. Dickinson Richmond's Largest and Most Reliable Jewelry House
