Quentin Roosevelt Col. Theodore Roosevelt, former president, has given up hope of hearing that his son, Quentin, is' a prisoner in Germany. News dispatches from the front have stated that Quentin, an aviator, was seen to drop behind the German lines after engaging in an airplane battle with Hun fliers. No definite information that he was killed has been received, but it is believed the Germans would have dropped word into the allies lines if he were being held prisoner. Mrs. Theodore Roosevelt, Jr., doing war work in France, has cabled her father that news of Quentin's death has not been confirmed and that she believes he may be alive, though wounded. Quentin is the youngest of the colonel's four sons. They are all in service.
