FARMERS OF NEW PARIS WORK FOR GRAIN SAVING

NEW PARIS. O., June 29. "Save every grain" Is the slogan adopted by Jefferson township farmers, threshers and elevator men. Farmers have already begun to cut wheat which Is regarded as one of the best crops In many years. The local elevator, Richards and Son, has Installed new grain chutes and', made other repairs to "save every grain." Farmers are repairing their wagons and graneries. Dr. C. II. Harris returned Tuesday from a week's vacation at Zanesvllle, Ohio. Mrs. Harris, and daughter Hel en remained for a longer vacation, ....Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Benson have removed from the I J. Reld property to the C. E. Samuels property on Washington street Miss Carrie R. Whlttaker returned Friday from Zenta where she 'taught school the past winter. She has been reemploy, ed for the coming year.. ...Miss Eva McKee returned from her school work at Cleveland. Ohio, and has entered Miami Unlverslay for the summer session Miss Irene Timmons of Dayton spent the week end with home folks Mrs. John Aiken and children of Richmond, spent the week end with her mother, Mrs. E. Miller... The Children's Day exercises Sunday evening at the Presbyterian church were well attended and were rendered in a pleasing manner. The pastor, Rev. 6. H. Bailes, made two timely talk3. ....Harold Smith, for several years an employe of the Interurban system at Indianapolis, visited his parents this week, be having resigned hia job
and will leave with the draft contingent Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Alexander of Hamilton, spent .Wednesday and Thursday with Mrs. E. W. Miller and, left for Dunkirk. Ohio, for a further visit.

" MARRIED IN KENTUCKY. EATON," 6., July 1. Louia Yeager and 'Miss Nellie. Cox formally announced their marriage Saturday, the knot having been -tied two or three days before in 'Newport, Ky. The bride was for a number of years employed at the -Central hotel, but had been living in Dayton the last few years. Mr. Yaeger is a well-known pharmacist. He has been Identified with the local pharmacy of W. W. Lake for luany years.
