Appreciation for the gift of Smileage books presented by the Rotary club, is expressed in a letter written by Harold C. Yager on behalf of the 48 selects, who left for Camp Taylor, Ky., two weeks ago. The letter follows!: "On behalf cf the 4S men who left Richmond two weeks ago Saturday we wish to thank the Rotary Club and rach individual member for thtir kindness for giving us those smileage books and wishing us gocd luck. Tha fellows all appreciated that gift for theirs was the only organization that gave all the ellows something when they left Richmond, end it will not be forgotten scon either. "The men all are well and like the camp down here fine for ihey get the Lest of treatment from their officers and every one else who ia in the service cf the country. We are getting fine grub and they don't know what wheatless or meatless days" are in the army. I don't think any mother has any real cause to worry about her son while he is in Camp Taylor for they have the best of care any bunch of fellows in the country have at the present time and they are well taken care of in every respect, so that all the people at home have to do is to go to a bank once in awhile and buya Liberty bond. Yours very sincerely; HAROLD C. YAGER. 13th Co., 4th BN., 159th Depot Brigade, Camp Zachary Taylor, Ky.
