OBfTUARY OF JESSE EVANS BROWN Jesse Evans Brown was born Nov. 1 1S47. near Richmond, Indian?, and died at his residence on the Arba pike, two mile south of Arba. Mav 1. I'M, aged 70 years, 6 months and 12 days. , . September 24. 171. he was married to Miss Henrietta Chenoweth. To them wa born one son. Harrison vl .. who lives one and one-half n11s south of Arba. On April 2. lSiS. death entered the home, taking away the wife and mother. Mr. Hrown was again married Sept. 21 179. to Josephine Vsn TUburg, who survives him. To them were V.orn five children, Estclle May. Roy Morelle. Anna Jaretta. Jesse Ralph, linhy Elisabeth. All the children are living with the exception of the first, Kstelle May. who died In infancv. Mr. r.rown was a member of the Church of Christ, having united with the church at Mt. Giledd. In Randolph routttv. tinder the preaching of Rev. J. It. Ludwlsr. He was also a member of the Masrfnlc order. Until the year 1SS0 Mr. Brown made his home near Arba in Randolph county, movinar to the present resilience in March of that year. Here the famllv home has been sustained for nearlv fortv years, and it has been a home of hospitality and happiness. There a'" six grandchildren. Russell and Verlin Brown. Garnet and Margaret Addlemsn. Bemlon louise Brown, and Thelma Joy Flenning. Mr. Brown has four brothers and one sister living. . The meeting house not being large enoutrh to hold all. At the grave the Masonic order had charge.
