This cablegram from France was recently received by the Y. M. C. A. of this country. It calls attention to what our men overseas regard aa one great deficiency in the equipment of the United States troops. Base ban is still our national game, even over thr in Flanders, and the basemen object to taking hard throws from across the diamond with their bare hands. Flehtine men must have their play. To the Y. M. C. A. the government has intrusted the task or supervising the athletic recreation of hundreds of thousands of men. It's no small job. PRESBYTERY MEETS OXFORD, O., April 6.
