Hi
WHY GO TO CHURCH?
....... ,t, hii mi h til n
One reason for doing so, and a forceful one, is that the Master of men and the founder of the christian church
j Himself attended the synagogue service regularly. We can H jjj make no mistake in following Him. Imitation of Christ is B jjj the secret of right living. H Another is that every man needs the church. He needs H H the fellowship of the church. Every man needs to hear the fj U words of the great book of life. At least once a week every H jjj one should have a place where he can forget the cares and m U problems of life, where he can rise above the poisonous jjj H atmosphere of the world and breathe the pure air of heaven. M H In the sacred light of the sanctuary the greatest aspirations H m of men are born. jj jj Still another reason for attending church is, the church jl IU needs men. The church needs you in its worship and j B praise. It needs you in its great warfare against evil in the j Jl world. You believe in God. You believe in goodness. You jj ( ought to be found standing side by side with those who are m jjj at the front. We owe it to the Master, ourselves and others jj J to attend church. It is straightforward, manly and loyal jj H sjo to do. H REV. J. S. HILL
