Grain advanc d sharply today as a result of the passage of the Gore resolution In the Senate favoring a higher guaranteed price for the 1918 wheat crop. Corn was also bullishly affected by the continued lightness of receipts here. Important houses were leading buyers. Opening' quotations, which ranged from to c higher with March 127 and May $1.25 to $1.26. were followed by material further gains. Seaboard interests continued to be active bidders for oats. Richmond Loan Exhibit ion Opens
at Public Art Richmond's loan exhibition of paintings will open in the Art Gallery at the High school, March 24, and remain in place until April 18. ' . . A reception for delegates attending the Sixth District association of Teachers will be held in the gallery, Friday evening. The gallery will be open Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Maud Kauf-man-Eggemeyer and J. E. Bundy are banging the pictures. The permanent collection . of the Richmond Art Association has been placed in the south gallery. The loan exhibit is hung in the northeast and north galleries.
